Hello Everyone!
Today I thought I’d show you a really good face mask made out of four ingredients that I’m pretty sure you will already have in your cupboards!! It aims to help eliminate spot scars as well us speeding up to process of getting rid of those pesky blemishes!! It’s so simple to make and it’s practically breakfast… Honey is a really good ingredient since it is a natural inflammatory and thus minimises the redness of those buggers!
The ingredients are;
- 1 cup Water
- 1/2 cup Oats
- 1tbsp Honey
- 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
First up you need to mix the water and oat in a saucepan over a medium heat until the consistency thickens – stir every now and then, ensuring that the oats don’t burn.
Then add the lemon juice. Take it off the stove to cool for about 20 minutes and then mix in the honey et voila!!
Apply to you face, which may seem tricky as it’s not the most sticking-to-face mask! I suggest you leave it on for about 20 minutes whilst laying down or else at first, most of it will be plopping on the floor!! Wash it off with warm water, whilst you wash it off buff it into your skin to give a bit of exfoliation and then apply moisturiser!
It’s not the prettiest looking mask but it does the job well!! Also, it may seem like I had a lot of mixture but that was because I doubled the quantities to make two masks.
Let me know what you think!!
Lots of love,
Alice xx
